Benchmark Oil Tanker Rates Dip; U.S.-Europe Clean Route Jumps (Bloomberg)

Rates for hauling oil on the benchmark Middle East-to-China route edged lower to WS 31.95, That equates to a daily loss of -$3,961 vs -$4,281 Tuesday. Rates for ships hauling refined products on the TC14 U.S. Gulf to Europe route added 11% to WS 93.93, the biggest move for clean tankers.
