ARA bunker availability is normal for VLSFO and LSMGO, while HSFO380 is slightly tight. A number of suppliers get HSFO380 supplies from Russia which has led to some tightness, sources say.
Recommended lead times in ARA hub are around 3-5 days across all grades.
ARA’s independently held fuel stock dropped by 2% last week, whereas hub’s gasoil stocks increased by 3%, according to Insights Global.

In Gibraltar, port operations resumed on Tuesday after weather triggered suspensions. No congestion is seen on Wednesday, however, suppliers in Gibraltar Strait ports brace for bad weather that is forecast to hit on Thursday that could affect operations until Friday, says port agent MH Bland.
Availability is slightly tight in Gibraltar and requires 3-4 days ahead for all grades, sources say. Meanwhile, one supplier can offer prompt deliveries.
In Algeciras, congestion at the inner anchorages has eased from 11 vessels queued for bunkers on Monday to no vessels awaiting bunkers on Wednesday, says MH Bland. Three suppliers are running 4-12 hours behind schedule.
Las Palmas port bunker operations are suspended at the outer anchorages amid bad weather. Bunker supply can be only performed by barge at inner anchorage and ex-pipe at berth in Las Palmas, says MH Bland.
Recommended lead times in Las Palmas is around 4-5 days for LSMGO and VLSFO.
